Die LR Health & Beauty GmbH soll für über 320 Millionen Euro verkauft werden
Am 18.9.2012 berichtete das Handelsblatt, dass das Direktvertriebsunternehmen LR Health & Beauty Systems Insiderinformationen nach, wieder von der Apax verkauft werden soll, für die Helmut Spikker Ende 2004 rund 120 Millionen Euro erhalten haben soll. Der Private-Equity-Fonds Apax will LR nun für schätzungsweise 320 bis 360 Millionen Euro verkaufen, was dem Acht-bis Neunfachen des operativen Gewinns entspricht. Wer der neue Käufer ist, wird streng geheim gehalten, da wohl gerade im Hintergrund ein neuer Fonds aufgelegt wird, damit der Direktvertrieb mit seinen vielen Vertriebspartnern geschluckt werden kann. An der Finanzierung sollen unter anderem die Commerzbank, die DZ Bank und die Societe Generale arbeiten, womit die anstehende Übernahme wohl mehr als nur ein Gerücht zu sein scheint. Als Käufer sollen dem Handelsblatt nach auch Unternehmen aus der Branche in Frage kommen, sowie weitere Finanzinvestoren. Im Geschäftsjahr 2011 setzte LR rund 230 Millionen Euro um und ist damit wohl Deutschlands größtes MLM-Unternehmen.
